My name is Tom Skipper. I am more commonly known as bloodytom. I am a 23-year-old registered nurse who takes it up as a hobby to write songs and learn about computer, web designing, hacking and many other things. I live in my college friend's old house in Manila, Philippines with three other former schoolmates.

I grew up in the province of Oriental Mindoro until I was 16 years old. When I was in high school, I met my best buddy named Skye. She's been my best friend and love interest since.

Growing up in the province is a whole lot different story from living here in the big city. Growing up in a rural area means that mostly everything is peaceful and the views are, in so many degrees, much better to look at than here in Manila. There are acres of green rice fields that just felt so good to my eyes whenever I rode the jeepney to school at 6 in the morning. The thin fog made it look like I was on my way to heaven. The thing I probably like the most are the beaches. I used to go to the seaside alone and go on a picnic on my own. I used to go camping with some friends as well.

I attended Manila Central University where I tried to study basic HTML, Javascript and CSS simultaneously with Human Anatomy and Physiology and a bunch of other Nursing subjects, especially during the first couple of years when most of the subjects and the teachers are equally boring. I graduated in 2006 with a degree of BS in Nursing. I finally claimed my professional license after a whole freakin' year due to the stupid controversy in our batch. I have also passed my NCLEX-RN and IELTS exams in the late 2007 and early 2008, respectively.

I am currently training as a Critical Care Nurse at the University of Perpetual Health Dalta Medical Center in Las Piñas City with fellow nurses who are also planning to leave the country to work somewhere else; although I have to say that working abroad is not my priority reason for wanting to leave. 

I made my first website in 2002. It was called fRankenshoes. It sucked but thanks to it I was able to try, learn and do many things with a website. It underwent numerous revisions until I closed it down and made a new one in August 2006 which was named after my nickname, bloodytom. I used DHTML with my previous websites. This is the first time that I have used a software such as Joomla to create my website (but I've tried Wordpress for a couple of months before). I am amazed by the power of PHP and MySQL in making websites that's why I want to give this a try.

The contents of this website are mostly what I put in my website before: my songs, a few artworks and some articles. I might also add tutorials and downloads soon.

I play guitar and write songs in a band called 10CM. I also do some solo projects which i post on this website. I like eating pasta, pizza and anything that's tasty. I also play computer games such as GTA, Devil May Cry and Counter-Strike. I love watching Family Guy, House MD, Heroes, Prison Break and the animé Naruto.
