I was able to attend the 29th Annual Convention of the Philippine Nurses Association in Las Piñas on October 10 and one of the issues discussed there was the JPEPA or the Japan-Philippines Economic Partnership Agreement. This was an issue that I've heard long time ago, only that I didn't know it was called this. So I did my research and found out more than I expected to find.

Here I am on another sleepless night. It's still raining because of the storm and everything just feels so gloomy. It's cold, there's no one to talk to and the future still looks very dim.

I could be happier if only there was something promising to look forward to. As a nurse with only 6 months of experience (although most of it in the ICU and the ER), there's not much opportunities waiting for me here. I really wish I was already working at least in a tertiary hospital even with minimum wage for a nurse. But because of a lot of factors, I'm still just an intern.
